Teacher Highlight of the Week...Meet Rilee!

New school year equals new teachers, and for us here at Tikkun Olam we couldn't be more excited about what, or should we say who, that means! Over the next few weeks we are going to introduce our newest teachers and Tikkun Olam representative and encourage you to get to know them as well. We are SO SO SO excited to publicly announce their commitment to our kids, our community, and God's vision! 

Meet Rilee...

Rilee is a bright young woman who recently graduated from Calvary University in Kansas City with a BS in Biblical Counseling, emphasis in human trafficking. She will be the new 5th grade science teacher at North Side School and looks forward to getting kids excited about science! Rilee is very eager to see what plans God has for her on this journey to Montana and prays that she will grow alongside the community. While teaching wasn’t originally what she planned to go into, she’s hoping that she will be able to mentor and love on the kids in her class and share the love she has for God with them.

Rilee played collegiate basketball and has a passion about sports in kid’s lives. She has been offered several coaching positions in Wolf Point including basketball, volleyball, track and cross country. While she wishes to coach them all this first year she will be following her passion for basketball and will coach the 8th grade girls team. In addition to spending time on the court Rilee enjoys hiking, hammocking, reading, and really anything that involved the outdoors. Rilee says she is truly blessed to be going to such a beautiful part of the country and looks forward to growing her personal faith on the way.

Rilee enjoyed some time abroad after graduation and recently got engaged! Talk about some big life changes in a few short months! Help us welcome Rilee to the team and pray that she will continue to shower her kids with the love and compassion Jesus shows us all daily.
