Newest Board Member

Check out our newest Board member, Terry Mason from Decatur Illinois. Terry was apart of the first missions group to come help us and quickly fell in love with the kids, our teachers, and the vision God has for us. We are so thankful Terry has joined in the missions to be a light of hope on the Reservation and we are confident his infectious laughter, infinite wisdom, and kind heart will be great addition to our Board of Directors! Terry lives in Decatur Illinois and is actively involved in the local church Renaissance. He was a part of the first missions group from Ren that came to Wolf Point and instantly fell in love with the community and what Tikkun Olam is trying to do. Terry has a long history of getting in the middle of service efforts with the Great Banquet weekends, NLPC, American Cancer Society, Big Brothers Big Sister, and Marion Medical Missions to name a few. When asked what surprised him the most about his trip to the Reservation he replied, “I was shocked to see how much need for teachers there is in all the public schools. I think Tikkun Olam’s approach to housing and supporting individuals that come up here to teach is truly amazing and will have lasting effects on all the kids on the Reservation.”

Terry is one of those guys that you will never forget and instantly fall in love with. He is married to his lovely wife Janyce, has four wonderful sons, and five grandchildren. His experience with other non-profits and love to serve the Lord make him a huge asset to our team and we are so thankful he joined in on our mission to Repair Our World!
