Teacher Highlight of the Week...Meet Hannah
This week we highlight our newest addition to the Tikkun Olam family, Hannah!! We are so excited to see such a charasmatic woman seeking the Lord in all she does and following His calling to serve the people on the Reservation. Hannah has provided us with a short bio about her but as you continue to support and pray for our teachers this year keep these thoughts in mind...
Pray for wisdom and understanding, that Hannah would be able to understand the people she is serving and as a result be able to know and love them well. Pray for her teaching that she can continue to grow and be the most effective mentor and teacher to her kids. And lastly pray that all of our teachers may be flexible, quick to learn, and compassionate with all the twists and turns the kids and the community is bound to take them on as this journey begins! Now here's Hannah!!
Hannah is a recent graduate from Colorado Christian University that is joining the Tikkun Olam family as a 1st grade teacher at South Side Elementary. Hannah is originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado and is an avid runner doing both cross country and track throughout her collegiate career. She loves to read and is a continuous learner seeking information from all kinds places.
Hannah has been praying for an opportunity to use her teaching skills and serve in a community of great need. She was excited to hear about Tikkun Olam and quickly felt like God was calling her to the Reservation. She looks forward to growing her teaching skills, becoming involved in the community and understanding the stories and perspectives of the people on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation along side the Tikkun Olam family.
