Tikkun Olam is focused on ‘Repairing the World’ starting in Wolf Point, Montana on the Ft Peck Indian Reservation. We believe that changing the world starts with our children today and that our generation is capable of helping the next generation- now. By supporting our teachers on the Reservation we can make a difference in the lives of Native American families.
The mission of Tikkun Olam is to provide appropriate housing alternatives for teachers and other professionals, provide safe and caring housing for children, and create educational and job opportunities in rural communities and Native American Reservations.
We support Teachers, school staff, and young professionals
In a community lacking in comfortable, safe housing, the school systems on the Reservation have struggled to recruit young professionals into northeastern Montana. By providing rent-free housing, Tikkun Olam is encouraging some of the most caring, motivated, and inspiring teachers from across the country to a place of need. Our vision is to bring life back into the classroom with educators and school staff who are eager to invest in the Wolf Point youth.
we stand with youth in foster care
God has put a distinct passion on our hearts to serve the youth and families in the foster care system. Over our four years of operation, we have responded to that calling by opening a state licensed daycare that serve at-risk youth and those in foster placements, housed teachers who signed up to be full time and respite placements, and continue to work with the Department of Child and Family Services to respond to needs that arise.

Tikkun Olam believes that supporting sustainable job creation is fundamental to a healthy society. While most of American enjoys growth in industry and technology, job opportunities on the Reservation are few and far between. With millions of acres of crop land and an abundance of natural resources in the area, we believe that creative solutions for this generations and next are only limited by the size of our imagination.
